From a background in architecture, Stuart turned his attention from building buildings to building brands when he joined The Big Picture in 2009.

Since then he’s made a name for himself with his globe-spanning work for brands including McCain, Axe, Captain Morgan, Dulux, Doritos, Bacardí, The Glenlivet and Tetley, and was made Director in 2015. His writing on design strategy has featured widely, appearing in nationals such as The Guardian and The Times, as well as industry publications including AdMap, CreativeBloq, The Drum and Popsop. He’s also the host of our podcast, OnDesign.
