Meet the team
If you’ve ever worked with The Big Picture, then you’ll know that it’s like working with a well-oiled, finely tuned design research machine churning out insights left, right and centre. But did you know that the company is actually made up of a team of human researchers?
To prove it, we thought we’d compile a ‘Meet the Team’ blog post to put some faces to names. You might have come across a few of us already in research projects, but can you collect the set?
John
Geordie and Newcastle FC fan John is also a part-time twitcher, so his interests extend beyond just the Magpies.
Stuart (Costley)
Despite being Irish and a musician, Stuart still has a full set of teeth.
Su
Sporty Su is a bookworm who loves to both read and write short stories.
Cecilia
Our resident Swede, Cecilia. Don’t get in her way when she’s on a scooter (or a Segway).
Caroline
Caroline is almost as talented a chef as she is a researcher. Makes brownies to die for.
Kahlia
Kiwi Kahlia is not only a keen amateur photographer but also a coffee baroness, no less. (Google it)
Emma
When Emma isn’t researching, she likes to struggle through waist-deep mud in the cold in events like the Grim Challenge. To each their own.
Stuart (Chapman)
Stuart (or ‘Chappers’, for the purposes of clarity around the office) is our resident design geek, Apple enthusiast and music snob.
Chris
Chris: the fastest man any of us have ever seen in a go kart, but surprisingly sedate in the company Prius. Gooner fan (don’t mention Cesc Fabregas)
Ash
A cook by name, but a baker by nature (cupcakes mostly). Likes to run and write in her spare time as it offsets the sugar rush.
Fleur
Fleur is a self-proclaimed spinning enthusiast, and a foodie. She also makes a mean brownie.
Owen
Fresh from the Glasgow School of Art, Owen is a keen cyclist (come rain and shine!) and also has a Gold Medal in acting, don’t you know.
Victoria
Victoria has a thing for linguistics and analysing the English language; making her a mean typo-spotter. She’s also a Come Dine With Me addict, and loves to recreate the dinner party feel at home.
Becky
With an MA in English Literature, Becky often has her nose in a good book (or Kindle). She’s currently working through Sherlock Holmes, which stands her in rather good stead for a career in research…
